March 2017 mission trip

First of all we would like to thank everyone who made our mission trip March 15th to March 19th, 2017 possible. We left Brevard county Wednesday 1Am in the morning and we arrived to the orphanage at 9PM after a long day of traveling. When we arrived to the orphanage that night, it was a pleasure to see the girls again and they were happy to see us also.  The girls were excited to see their pictures from June when we were in Haiti. Thursday March 16th, it was such a blessing to see all of our beautiful children in Haiti getting ready for school. They are growing up so fast almost as tall as our founder. Our first day severing the community went well. Since our children couldn’t go to school because of the early morning rain, they stayed home and helped preparing the medications for the home visits to the community. With the helped of our children in the orphanage, we were able to label, zipped lock and pouring all the medications. The girls are perfect when it’s come to team work. We can see our future pharmacies and nurses. It’s always challenging to serve our village, our first challenge for the first day was the rain but that did not stop us. We went to homes after homes and sometimes we had to take shelter inside the house of some of the people in the village until the rain stop. Our next challenge was people begging us to take one of their children because they can’t not afford to provide for them, and our answer for now we have no room and financial are struggling with the ones we already have. We visited so many homes and see so many people from babies to elders, male and female, we served all of them like God’s children. It’s was heartbroken to see the living conditions of some of the people in our village. Sometimes you think that you are dreaming to see the conditions of some of the children in our village in Haiti, but it’s reality for them, playing soccer without shoes with a ball they made themselves. We are very proud of them because they all were happy regardless of the condition of their living.  Even though they had nothing, no food, no medical care, barely a comfortable place to call home. Friday was our 2nd day mobile clinic serving the community. We set up at a local school reaching out to many people in need of medical care from 9:30am to 3pm without a second to rest. We served over 200 people all ages with deformers, acid, cold, fever, antibiotics, blood pressure, toothbrushes, toothpaste and many more. Even though it’s was pouring, the rain did not stop the community seeking health care and us from giving what we had. The people in our community need so much help the only thing I can do is pray for God to watch over them, I saw few of the highest blood pressure and I can only advised the patients to go to the hospital and it’s killing me inside knowing that thses people have no source of income to go to the hospital. There are the people we left behind and our hearts are broken, a poor man with a bad infection to his right foot and do not have money to do the hospital, we gave him some antibiotics and instructed him how to keep his wound clean and to avoid sweet and carbohydrate by the way his wound looked he might be diabetic. A older women with high blood pressure, we visited her every day sometimes twice a day when we were there trying to bring her blood pressure down but couldn’t not, finally Saturday we told her she needed to go to the hospital first thing Monday morning. A little girl her mother is begging us to take her in because she cannot provide for all 5 of her children. Children without clothes and food playing in the muds, mothers with nothing to feed their children. The words that I can’t help you to someone who is in need is unbearable and heartbroken. We helped as much as we can. Thank you God for giving us the opportunity to help your less fortunate children On the other hands watching our children in the orphanage in Haiti growing, it’s like watching the flowers blooming, together they all make this world a beautiful garden.  Our children are growing up so fast, we changed their dining table to a bigger size. Some of their mattresses are in bad conditions, from bed wetting, we were able to changed one and are in the process of changing the other ones with the help of our supporters.  It always feel like Christmas to the children  every time their shipments arrived to Haiti, especially when the founder is there to open the boxes.
Irland was so surprised and happy to have her first birthday party and first cake after 12 years. Irland moved in with us last June while we were in Haiti. We are keeping our birthday promises to our children in the orphanage. A promise that their birthday will never miss like before they moved in to the orphanage. We touched a lot of people in Haiti, some are heartbroken and some bring so much joys to our hearts, the little ones from the village had a blast at Irland’s birthday party. They always looked forward for our last day party before we leave Haiti. We were happy to see a baby boy in the village who’s older brother died of malnutrition almost  5 years ago, as a founder of CGOLF, I made a promise to the baby and his mother, this baby boy will not died of malnutrition. As a founder to CGOLF, when the hurricane Matthew hit Haiti October 2016, I watched the media and everyone trying to help Haiti, but I knew most of the helps would come to an end and most of these people need continuous help, not just at the moment of crisis. I told myself I will try to find one child to support and I was blessed to match with a child from Jeremie where the hurricane hit the most.   I thought I probably will never meet her face to face but I was wrong. Her mother is so grateful she said she would do whatever she had to do for me to meet the baby when she heard I was coming to Haiti. Yes she did and she dressed her up just for me to meet her. She wanted me to see our babies at her best. Always a blessing to hold my babies in my arms for the first time. Thank you God for giving us the opportunity to help your less fortunate children. Thank you to all of you for supporting CGOLF. Tears 😂of joy.   mission trip march girls looking at picturesmission trip march 2017 medicine mission trip march 2017 girls getting meds readymission trip march 2017 dadline getting meds readymission trip march 2017 girls schoolmission trip march 2017 girls getting meds ready 1mission trip march 2017 girls school breafastmission trip march 2017 girls did not go to school rainmission trip march 2017 girls getting meds ready 3mission trip march 2017 little girl looking at her picturemission trip march 2017 girls getting meds ready 4mission trip march 2017 girls getting meds ready 5mission trip march 2017 little girl with doll  mission trip march 2017 1st home visit 2mission trip march 2017 1st home visitmission trip march 2017 1st home visit Enidmission trip march 2017 boys playing soccer 2mission trip march 2017 boys playing soccermission trip march 2017 home visit 2mission trip march 2017 home visit 4mission trip march 2017 home visit 3mission trip march 2017 home visit 5mission trip march 2017 home visit 6mission trip march 2017 home visit 9mission trip march 2017 home visit 13 mission trip march 2017 home visit 12mission trip march 2017 home visit 14mission trip march 2017 home visit 11mission trip march 2017 home visit 1 mission trip march 2017 home visit 18   mission trip march 2017 girls school1mission trip march 2017 girls school 2mission trip march 2017 girls school 5mission trip march 2017 school clinicmission trip march 2017 school clinic 1mission trip march 2017 school clinic7mission trip march 2017 school clinic11 mission trip march 2017 school clinic12 mission trip march 2017 school clinic14 mission trip march 2017 school clinic 18mission trip march 2017 school clinic 14mission trip march 2017 school clinic 12mission trip march 2017 school clinic78mission trip march 2017 school clinic74mission trip march 2017 school clinic 11mission trip march 2017 school clinic 43mission trip march 2017 school clinic high bpmission trip march 2017 man with footmission trip march 2017 babyfood 1mission trip march 2017 boy2mission trip march 2017 baby foodmission trip march 2017 baby with formula mission trip march 2017 Enidmission trip march 2017 matressesmission trip march 2017 matresses 2mission trip march 2017 tablemission trip march 2017 girlsmission trip march 2017 girls new underwearsmission trip march 2017 girls open boxes 3mission trip march 2017 girls boxes openmission trip march 2017 girls open boxes 4  mission trip march 2017 breakfast   mission trip march 2017 birthdaymission trip march 2017 birthday 2mission trip march 2017 birthday 3mission trip march 2017 birtdaymission trip march 2017 birthday 6 mission trip march 2017 birthday 7mission trip march 2017 birthday 9mission trip march 2017 thanksmission trip march 2017 thanks2mission trip march 2017 thanks8mission trip march 2017 thanks 4mission trip march 2017 all thanksmission trip march 2017mission trip march 2017 5mission trip march 2017 thanks 7mission trip march 2017 thanks 9mission trip march 2017 78   1mission trip march 2017 Jerimi baby
